August 12, 2008 - At their recent meeting in Hokkaido, Japan, leaders of the eight most industrialised countries in the world - known as the G-8, pronounced themselves on terrorism and how to combat it. Among other things, they gave priority to capacity building for countries requiring assistance to meet their international counter terrorism committments.
