September 2, 2008 - The Institute for Security Studies (ISS) is holding a three day strategy retreat outside Cape Town, South Africa. As an IGAD program implemented by the ISS, ICPAT is represented at the gathering. The retreat, involving all 14 ISS programs, is looking forward to 2011, and examining what the ISS would be like in that year. In related news the 2007 Annual Review of ISS was launched in Cape Town on September 1 in Cape Town at an event attended by diplomats, local officials, academics and other civil society organization representatives.
