ICPAT 9^th Special Steering Committee Meeting was conducted in Addis Ababa on 5^th March 2010. The main theme of the meeting was about future of ICPAT, where its successor in the name of IGAD Security Sector Program (ISSP) was introduced.

A brief presentation of the draft of the overall structure of ISSP within the IGAD structure was made. The new program has four pillars have been outlined: Counter Terrorism, Maritime security, organized crimes, and security sector reform and capacity building. Finally, different comments were given by the steering committee members and representatives of Donor countries.
