8 March 2011 – The new directors for the Divisions of the Peace & Security, Agriculture and Environment, Economic Cooperation & Social Development and the Head of Finance & Administration who were accompanied by Mr. Yufnalis Okubo,

the Ag. Head of the Peace & Security Division and the Legal Advisor of IGAD, visited ICPAT to meet with the staff and also to be briefed on the activities of the Office. 

Commander Abebe Muluneh, the Ag. Head of ICPAT, made a presentation on ICPAT explaining the establishment, success stories, opportunities, challenges, the overall activities during the last four and half years, the present situation and also the way forward.  The directors commented and also made some questions which were addressed satisfactorily.  (End)
